Between November 2019 and September 2025, I was Co-Founder and Executive Creative Director of UNI_VERSE, a hybrid digital creative studio based in Amsterdam.

After more than 20 years working in the industry as a motion graphic designer and 3D artist, I felt a strong need to build something different. UNI_VERSE started as an idea I had been carrying with me for years: a studio that would put artists and creators first. Half production studio, half curated creative workspace, bringing together 3D artists, designers, animators, and technologists under one roof.


So in 2019 I founded UNI_VERSE together with Daan Schraauwers. Throughout my time at the studio, I was responsible for creative vision, concept development, and executive creative direction across projects, while collaborating closely with a wide network of designers, artists, producers, developers, and technologists.

From the beginning, the ambition went beyond being “just another 3D motion design studio.” With 3D animation and design as a foundation, the studio embraced a hybrid approach, combining film, design, emerging technology, and physical experiences. At a time when real-time graphics, generative systems, AR, VR, and AI were rapidly evolving, I saw a future where digital work would increasingly spill into physical space through installations, immersive environments, and interactive design.

In the early years, we organized the RGBXYZ Digital Art Festival and hosted a wide range of creative talks and sessions at our first studio on the Anjeliersstraat in the Jordaan—an inspiring 330m² space that allowed UNI_VERSE to grow organically and build a strong creative community. We quickly connected with international agencies and global brands, which led to continued growth and, in 2022, a move to a new studio at the Lijnbaansgracht.
